A success story with tradition
We are proud of our established standing in the international fashion business. Our parent company, Weber & Ott AG, based in Forchheim in Upper Franconia, has been in existence for almost 180 years, making it one of the oldest clothing companies in Germany.

All of the Group's subsidiaries are reliable employers in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. The consistent apprenticeship of junior staff is an essential part of our sustainable planning for the future. A team of more than 240 employees in administration, production and logistics has set itself the goal of fulfilling customer wishes worldwide with concentrated expertise and enthusiasm for a growing variety of products.

TONI becomes top brand again

TONI was once again voted TOP brand in the current ladies' trousers study by Textilwirtschaft.

We are particularly pleased that we achieved this ranking again and that you named us the winner of the categories goods performance, profit performance as well as partnership performance in addition to the 2nd place in the overall image.

2022

Relaxed celebrates 10 years

It almost seems like yesterday: What a fantastic path our brand has been on since its creation in 2012! We have every reason to celebrate and thank all our companions for their loyalty.

Relaxed presents itself for its 10th anniversary in a completely new room concept - restrained, natural and very high quality.

2020

Already for the 4th time in a row

After 2011, 2014 and 2017, TONI is once again "Top Brand" in TextilWirtschaft's Women's Trousers Study 2020 for the fourth time in a row.

2012

Brand separation & online shop

The new brand identity is presented to the trade. The first TONI customer magazine communicates and supports the changes on the market. At the same time, the third TONI shop generation is brought to life.

TONI dress becomes TONI and Relaxed by TONI. In addition, the new TONI showroom opens in Hall 30, Düsseldorf.

2011

The target group firmly in view

The customer is changing - with this knowledge in mind, TONI DRESS is changing its market presence and splitting the brand into TONI and Relaxed by TONI.

The new TONI logo with the stylised poppy is born. Relaxed by TONI also gets its own logo to underline the independence of the collection.

2006

The company prepares for the future

The first shops of the 2nd TONI dress shop generation are set up in the trade with great success. The first tests for the introduction of a knitwear collection are underway.

1994

Standing on its own two feet

The women's outerwear is outsourced from the parent company Weber & Ott AG. TONI DRESS DAMENMODEN GMBH is founded as a legally independent company.

1988

A special highlight

At the Seoul Olympics, TONI DRESS is the official supplier of the women's Olympic team.

1978

The fit specialist

TONI DRESS is one of the first women's trouser manufacturers to introduce the special "TONIs Formcut Trousers". The first trousers with a special fit are born.

1965

A brand is born

The brand name TONI DRESS is legally protected.

1960

The first ladies' trousers by TONI

The first ladies' trousers were produced under the name TONI STRETCH as early as the beginning of the 1960s and were successfully marketed internationally.
